Delta Waterfowl is attaching backpack transmitters to Mississippi Flyway mallards, wigeon, gadwalls and green-winged teal, to better understand the migration and wintering grounds habits of dabbling ducks. Ultimately, the research should also lead to healthier ducks that breed more successfully.
