I live in Ladner B.C the undisputed Duck hunting capital of B.C. I have a ditch at the back of my property and Mallards and Wood Duck raise there broods there in the summer with about half the chicks surviving. I recently joined Delta waterfowl and started trapping in my yard thinking I would get a few Racoons to my surprise I have captured 8 Racoons and 13 Skunks. The migration is in full swing right now and we have been shooting Mallards & Widgeons with Green wing teal still around. Have not seen any Pintails yet but they should be out in the salt water.

Hoping for a hirer survival rate for ducklings next spring, with continued trapping efforts
