Dove Nuggets
Serve alone as an appetizer or atop a bowl of cilantro lime rice, grilled fajita veggies and guacamole.
Ingredients
dove breasts
¼ lb. unsalted butter, Melted
favorite Cajun seasoning
Directions
- Pat dove dry using paper towels
- Preheat cast iron griddle (or skillet) on hot grill
- Place dove in bowl and coat with melted butter
- Place a single layer of doves on a smoking hot cast iron griddle, immediately season with a shake of seasoning.
- Flip doves after about 30 seconds, season second side and cook for an additional 30 seconds. Do not overcook or the meat will become very chewy.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
