Duck Dog Tip of the Week: Spring’s Hidden Dangers
“As winter relinquishes its hold on the landscape and gives way to spring, we often see an increase in incidents of vomiting and diarrhea at the veterinary clinic. Often this is the result of dogs being exposed to items that had been buried in snow, or frozen for several months. Be particularly aware of this if running your dog on land where big game hunting takes place, as a freshly thawed gut pile can be just too big of temptation for most dogs.” — Dr. Joe Spoo DVM, DACVSMR, CCRT
