Delta’s Brice to Serve on Hunting Leadership Panel

Joel Brice has been appointed to the Hunting Wire Voice of Leadership Panel.

Brice, vice president of waterfowl and hunter recruitment programs for Delta Waterfowl, is one of six outdoor industry leaders chosen to serve on The Hunting Wire panel, which has been created in partnership with the National Rifle Association’s Hunter Leadership Forum.

Panel members have volunteered to contribute their voices on key hunting and outdoor recreation issues to inform, inspire and educate hunters. One focus of the panel is certain to be recruitment, retention and reactivation of hunters, which meshes well with Delta’s HunteR3 initiative.

“The Voice of Leadership Panel is another great tool available for us to focus on the challenges and importance of hunter recruitment,” Brice said. “Delta Waterfowl continues to work to ensure a strong future for hunting — specifically waterfowl hunting — throughout North America.”

In addition to Brice, the panel includes Jim Curcuruto, National Shooting Sports Foundation; Mandy Harling, National Wild Turkey Federation; Jenifer Wisniewski, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency; Jess Johnson, Wyoming Wildlife Federation; and David Baxter, Texas Youth Hunting Program. James “Jay” Pinsky of The Hunting Wire and Peter Churchbourne of NRA Hunter Leadership Forum will serve as facilitators.

“The Hunting Wire (huntingwire.com) takes our role as a preferred online resource for hunters seriously,” Pinsky said. “As such, we felt we had a responsibility to create a platform for hunting community leadership in addition to serving as the preferred digital resource for credible and accurate news and information about hunting. Our Voice of Leadership Panel will enable us to directly contribute to hunting leadership’s empowerment and growth.”

Contributors for The Voice of Leadership Panel are appointed for one year beginning in September. Panel members will provide leadership-based digital content which will be rotationally featured on The Hunting Wire and the NRA’s Hunter Leadership Forum.
