Delta Waterfowl Expands Development Efforts in Pacific Flyway
New team members will increase fundraising efforts and support chapters throughout California and Pacific Flyway
Delta Waterfowl’s major gifts and events teams have expanded the organization’s West Coast coverage. Two new development directors will work to increase fundraising efforts throughout the Pacific Flyway, while an additional regional director will focus on growth and support of Delta’s California-based chapters.
The Duck Hunters Organization is proud to introduce the following team members whose work will support ducks and duck hunters on North America’s Pacific coast:
Kevin Kress—Development Director, Pacific Flyway
Kevin Kress hails from Glen Ellen, California, and joins Delta Waterfowl with a wealth of education and professional experience in business development, particularly in the firearms industry. Additionally, Kress is a seasoned waterfowler who both loves the outdoor life and has taken a keen interest in exploring, learning, and helping Delta solve pressing issues for ducks and duck hunters in California and beyond.
Blake Fahmie—Development Director, Pacific Flyway
Blake Fahmie joins The Duck Hunters Organization from his home base in Martinez, California, and brings a wealth of business education, paired with an extraordinary career as a professional clay shooter and a history of building trusted business relationships. Fahmie lives to hunt and has achieved an impressive set of accomplishments in the waterfowl hunting and media industry.
Nicholas Metrick—Regional Director, California
Nicholas Metrick was raised in a small town located on the California Delta, where his passion for waterfowl and wildlife developed. His vast experience hunting throughout The Golden State has armed him with a wealth of local knowledge, supported by his impressive background in the business and sales industries. Metrick favors hunting the variety of waterfowl California has to offer and looks forward to making a difference for ducks and duck hunters in the Pacific Flyway and beyond.
“Bringing increased support to the efforts of Delta and our West Coast chapters is an important function of supporting the future of hunting in the Pacific Flyway,” said Scott Terning, director of events for Delta Waterfowl. “We look forward to seeing all of the impactful work Kevin, Blake, and Nicholas will accomplish moving forward and the abundance of ways in which they will help put more ducks over decoys each fall.”
