Michael Biewer is a long-time Delta volunteer who began working with the Delta chapter in Minot, North Dakota, when he was just 17, later transitioning to work with the Valley City Delta chapter. He comes to The Duck Hunters Organization with nearly 15 years of valuable, hands-on service and experience.

“It’s exciting to turn my enthusiasm and drive for making a positive impact into a career,” he said.

Biewer holds two degrees: an associate in wildlife management from Dakota College at Bottineau, and a bachelor’s in wildlife and fisheries management from Valley City State University. His volunteer experience paired with his scholastic background made him the perfect addition to The Duck Hunters Organization.

Outside of work, you can find him and his wife spending time in the great outdoors, taking part in a variety of activities and hobbies.

“When there is a hunting season open, I try to be out for it, no matter what it is,” he said. “I enjoy fishing now and then, and the wife and I like to go out to eat at new places and old favorites, as well as going out to the local brewery.”

He has a flat-coat retriever named Lophy, and his favorite place to hunt is in the Badlands of North Dakota, where he is on the lookout for big game and turkeys.
