Amanda Brusseau grew up on a farm just south of Dickinson, North Dakota. The land just south of her home is still her favorite place to deer hunt.

“The crops provide great habitat and the deer in recent years have been great!” she said. “I have yet to go waterfowl hunting, but I have no doubt it is in my future.”

Following her recent graduation from The University of Mary near Bismarck, North Dakota, with a degree in communications, she is looking forward to implementing organizational and streamlining practices to help The Duck Hunters Organization conquer its mission.

“I have always been interested in conservation and in event organization, so getting to merge the two at Delta just seemed like the perfect opportunity,” Brusseau said. “It’s going to sound nerdy, but I love organization within a company. To be able to find processes and solutions to streamline projects or events is what keeps me motivated.”

When she is not at work, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family or spending time in the kitchen.

“I love cooking and trying our different types of recipes!” she said. “I also like to go on walks, attend different Bis-Man (Bismarck-Mandan) events, and go back to Dickinson to help on the farm.”

If there was one thing she could never give up, it would be music. Her music taste is broad; she always has a playlist of some sort going.
