This Contest is now closed! Thank You to all who submitted photos of your duck dogs. We had a tremendous response with nearly 2000 photos. The judges will now begin the work of going through the photos and selecting their winners. Watch this space and our social media accounts to see who will win the Million Duck Dog Photo Contest!

The contest is open to all photographers of any level. Please allow 24-48 hours for your photo to be approved and submitted into contest.

You do not need to be a Delta Waterfowl member to enter. Although, being a member helps support conservation efforts and contests like this, so it would be cool with us if you joined. Help us make one million additional wild ducks joindelta.com

duck dog photo contest grand prize one year supply of Eukanuba dog food

  1. Image(s) must include at least one dog.
  2. Submissions must be digital and include the photographer’s contact information.  
  3. Images(s) must be at least 300 dpi to be considered for printing. By entering the contest, you are agreeing to provide written release if requested and to abide by the contest rules. 
  4. Participants are allowed to make 3 entries per contest.
  5. Competition is open to anyone over 18 years of age.
  6. You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all images entered. Delta Waterfowl does not accept any liability for the publication or unlawfully reproduced images.
  7. Delta Waterfowl is not responsible for technical difficulties or missed messages.  
  8. Competition is open to all US and non-US residents and is subject to its laws. Entrants outside the US must adhere to local laws.
  9. Watermarks and other identifying markings on images will be disqualified. This allows every photographer an anonymous judging process. 
  10. Entries may be featured in Delta Waterfowl media. 
  11. By entering the contest, you agree to grant Delta Waterfowl non-exclusive rights to publish, feature, reproduce and use the images submitted.
  12. The judges’ decision as to the winners is final.

  • Technical skill – Photo displays knowledge of subjects including dogs and hunting.
  • Creativity – Originality and artistic style (50%), presentation and technical skill (50%)
  • Accuracy – Colors, sizes, and perspectives. Additional points will be awarded for showing safety first (example: lifejackets)
  • Overall presentation – Photo displays knowledge of the outdoors and emotion.
