Error yesterday - 15 bird bag limit

Special seasons designed to reduce populations typically have liberal limits.

The ND special August 15 to September 9 season has a daily bag of 15 geese, not 8 as I mistakenly wrote yesterday.

Special resident seasons are set so there is virtually no chance of shooting migrants – so either early (like ND) or late in winter after migrants depart.

The giants don’t roast well, but they make good burger or jerky.
