YOUR PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT WITH DELTA PROGRAMS ENSURES THE FUTURE OF WATERFOWL HUNTING

The success of The Duck Hunters Organization relies on personal involvement of its members. As a volunteer, you make a difference! Whether joining your local chapter committee, helping out as a mentor on First Hunt or University Hunting Program events, or taking new hunters into the field one at a time, Delta volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization.

When you join your local Delta Waterfowl chapter committee, you'll connect with other passionate waterfowlers in your area, organize and participate in fundraising activities, and have a voice in how the dollars your chapter earns are spent.

Delta Waterfowl's chapter events system is unique among all conservation organizations in that at least 15% of the money raised at the chapter level goes back to the chapter for work right in the community. This Waterfowl Heritage Fund (WHF) provides local chapters a significant, hands-on role in accomplishing Delta's mission. Eligible projects include mentoring youth hunts, waterfowl hunting education and training seminars, local duck nesting structure installations, and more. Chapters may also direct their WHF funds to current Delta research or program activities.
