Biparental Care

This is normal for geese – both parents attending the brood.

Males and females have split roles. If danger approaches mom slinks away with goslings.

Dad fights the problem if it is small, alternatively, he performs the fake broken wing act to draw danger in the opposite direction from where mom took the lids.

Every dog falls for the broken wing trick. Not sure what foxes do.
