Delta Waterfowl Names Lawrence Vice President of Development Operations

An integral addition to the organization’s executive staff, Lisa Lawrence joined The Duck Hunters Organization in 2007

Lisa Lawrence has been promoted to vice president of development operations for Delta Waterfowl.

In her new role, Lawrence will manage the day-to-day operations of Delta’s development department, including leading the organization’s Annual Giving program, overseeing database operations, and serving as the key link between departments to support donor engagement and fundraising success.

“Lisa has dedicated nearly two decades to building Delta Waterfowl into the strong, mission-driven organization it is today,” said Jason Tharpe, chief executive officer for The Duck Hunters Organization. “Her leadership, institutional knowledge, and passion for our mission make her the perfect person to lead development operations as we pursue even greater impact for ducks and duck hunters.”

Lawrence grew up on a dairy and ranching operation south of Richardton, North Dakota, where hunting and time spent outdoors were a way of life. She joined Delta Waterfowl in 2007 as an events coordinator and steadily advanced within the organization. Most recently, she served as senior director of development operations, where she played a key role in improving internal systems and strengthening fundraising efforts.

“I’ve chosen to grow with Delta Waterfowl because I believe in keeping traditions alive within a family-oriented organization,” Lawrence said. “I’m excited for the opportunities this new role brings and look forward to helping support and expand hunting opportunities for others.”

Lawrence currently resides in Bismarck, North Dakota. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering and spending time with friends, family, and her two grandchildren in the great outdoors.
