Delta Waterfowl Duck Hunters Expo Kicks Off Later This Month
July 25 to 27 event in Oklahoma City features all things waterfowl, including live stages, expert-led seminars, innovative gear, and more
If you’ve found yourself restlessly painting decoys, re-organizing gear totes, beginning prep on the boat, or simply crossing days off the calendar until early goose or teal season, Delta Waterfowl has the event to tide you over. At the Delta Waterfowl Duck Hunters Expo, held July 25 to 27 at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds’ Bennett Center, you’ll find yourself immersed in a community of passionate waterfowlers and expert industry personnel just ahead of the 2025 season.
The Expo officially kicks off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:55 a.m. on Friday, July 25, which opens the doors for attendees to experience more than 200 of their favorite waterfowling vendors, along with two live stages featuring expert-led seminars on all subjects related to duck hunting.
Featured stages include the Duck Dog Stage presented by Eukanuba and Lucky Duck, which hosts seminars on retriever-training topics such as hunting with multiple dogs, fundamentals for young dogs, and pre-season conditioning and tune-ups. Plus, find answers to your training questions during the special question-and-answer panel sessions with Eukanuba’s expert team.
The Field-to-Table stage, presented by Banded, will feature experts in wild-game cuisine, including Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois and Professor Mark Merchant. Attendees can enjoy live cooking demonstrations highlighting delicious wild game recipes such as duck po’boys, duck eggs rolls, duck ramen, and more. Additionally, visitors can put their knowledge to the test in Delta Duck Hunters Trivia where they’ll be quizzed on hunting techniques, species identification, Delta programs, and more, all while competing for free prizes!
You can find guest biographies, along with the full stage schedules, here.
“Gathering the waterfowling community under one roof is something truly special, and it takes a tremendous amount of support to make it happen,” said Chris Williams, senior director of industry partnerships for The Duck Hunters Organization. “We’re especially thankful for our sponsors whose generosity and commitment help bring it all to life, and we’re excited to see familiar faces, swap stories, and celebrate everything that makes duck hunting such a meaningful part of our lives.”
Along with the more than 200 waterfowling vendors, the Delta Waterfowl Duck Hunters Expo features a variety of events, including the Grand Duck Hunters Banquet, Champions of Delta Luncheon, double-reed calling competition, decoy carving demonstrations, and more.
