Delta Waterfowl is The Duck Hunters Organization, a leading conservation group founded in 1911. We work to produce ducks through intensive management programs and conservation of breeding duck habitat. Delta conducts vital waterfowl research and promotes and protects the continuing tradition of waterfowl hunting in North America.

Delta’s international headquarters is located in Bismarck, North Dakota. Currently, our dedicated team consists of almost 100 employees, of which about half work within our headquarters office and the other half work remotely throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our organization has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and this is expected to continue. JOB SUMMARY
This role is ideal for a designer who thrives on creativity, collaboration, and mission-driven work. As Designer on the Marketing & Communications team, you’ll play a central role in shaping the organization’s visual identity and ensuring that every piece of communication reflects both brand excellence and the passion behind our mission to support duck production, protect access, and preserve the future of waterfowl hunting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Develop compelling visual assets to support fundraising, events, member engagement, advocacy, and conservation efforts
2. Create and produce materials such as brochures, digital ads, social graphics, PowerPoints, signage, merchandise, and more
3. Work with the Art Director to uphold and expand the Delta Waterfowl brand across all touchpoints
4. Collaborate with team members and departments across the organization to translate ideas into clear, engaging visual products
5. Back up our magazine design production as needed, supporting layout and publication flow
6. Contribute to the creative process with fresh ideas, sharp execution, and a bias for action
7. Support the evolution of internal design systems, templates, and creative workflows
8. Other job duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. 5–10 years of professional graphic design experience
2. A strong, diverse portfolio that shows range, creativity, and brand thinking
3. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator at minimum)
4. Fluency in both print and digital design workflows
5. Exceptional attention to detail and pride in producing clean, high-quality work
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
7. Comfort working independently in a remote setting — and collaborating closely across teams
8. A strong alignment with the Delta Waterfowl mission and an understanding of our audience (bonus if you’re a duck hunter, love hunting dogs, or are passionate about conservation)
9. Ability to travel on occasion.
