Development Coordinator - Bismarck, ND

Location: Headquarters office in Bismarck, ND

Delta’s international headquarters is located in Bismarck, North Dakota.  Currently, our dedicated team consists of almost 100 employees, of which about half work within our headquarters office and the other half work remotely throughout the US and Canada.  Our organization has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years, and this is expected to continue.  This is an exciting time for Delta as we look to the future, and we are looking for talented and skilled individuals who have a passion to perform meaningful work to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for providing daily administrative support to our Development Department team, which includes our Regional Directors and Development Directors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Manage all development new chapter paperwork, tickets and orders based on task prioritization and deadlines.
  2. Provide general assistance for development inquiries to volunteers and donors as necessary.
  3. Record all Development orders in the organization’s finance and inventory software to ensure they are properly recorded and deducted out of inventory.
  4. Track all Development orders to ensure all orders are properly shipped and delivered to the correct destination.
  5. Daily maintenance of campaigns, opportunities and tasks to ensure all related data is properly entered into the organization’s CRM database.
  6. Keep accurate and organized records of all development fundraising income and expenses throughout the year.
  7. Receive and accurately process Development fundraising deposits received via credit cards, checks, and cash.
  8. Assist with CRM data entry to include memberships, donor information, and donor gift history.
  9. Support of Development Staff in Forecasting and Pipeline Management.
  10. Aid with Delta’s constituents, Development field staff and colleagues to include report generation, fundraising mailings, and other administrative duties assigned.
  11. Build and maintain strong communication to effectively collaborate with Development field staff and Development Coordinator peers.
  12. Other job duties as assigned.

  1. High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related professional experience or a combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the above.
  2. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage data in Excel and other software.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to change.
  4. Must be able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced team environment.
