Delta Waterfowl is The Duck Hunters Organization, a leading conservation group founded in 1911. We work to produce ducks through intensive management programs and conservation of breeding duck habitat. Delta’s international headquarters is located in Bismarck, North Dakota. Currently, our dedicated team consists of almost 100 employees, of which about half work within our headquarters office and the other half work remotely throughout the U.S. and Canada. Our organization has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and this is expected to continue. JOB SUMMARY
The Annual Giving Manager at Delta Waterfowl is responsible for leading and executing the organization’s annual giving program, ensuring strong donor engagement, membership renewals, and campaign success. This role combines strategic fundraising leadership with operational oversight to deliver a seamless donor experience and maximize annual revenue in support of Delta Waterfowl’s mission to conserve waterfowl and secure the future of duck hunting across North America.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Provide direct management of the Annual Giving Department and its processes.
2. Plan, coordinate, and manage Annual Giving projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with budgets, timelines, and resource requirements.
3. Oversee project work, workflows, and responsibilities for Annual Giving Campaigns while leading membership renewal initiatives and driving strong, year-round member engagement.
4. Analyze Annual Giving performance and prepare reports using key program metrics.
5. Assist in answering and resolving Annual Giving inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
6. Maintain accurate daily CRM data, including donations, memberships, and other revenue.
7. Lead the Delta Waterfowl Batch Fulfillment process and ensure efficient logistics with fulfillment partners.
8. Oversee inventory for Annual Giving programs and manage in-house fulfillment for Delta Store merchandise.
9. Process, track, and reconcile Annual Giving-related invoices.
10. Coordinate sweepstakes and promotional programs, including compliance with third-party legal teams, winner communications, and prize distribution.
11. Support additional Development and organizational projects as assigned.
12. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of three years of related professional experience; or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
2. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
3. Works effectively with both the public and colleagues across departments.
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Office Suite; comfort working with CRM databases and digital tools.
5. Resourceful and adaptable, with the ability to find solutions and adjust quickly to change.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
7. Dependable, proactive, and customer-focused in all interactions.
8. Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and listen. The employee requires dexterity in using telephone, computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and other office equipment. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and navigate stairs. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds unassisted. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
