Delta Waterfowl is The Duck Hunters Organization, a leading conservation group founded in 1911.  We work to produce ducks through intensive management programs and conservation of breeding duck habitat. Delta conducts vital waterfowl research and promotes and protects the continuing tradition of waterfowl hunting in North America.

Delta’s international headquarters is located in Bismarck, North Dakota.  Currently, our dedicated team consists of almost 100 employees, of which about half work within our headquarters office and the other half work remotely throughout the US and Canada.  Our organization has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and this is expected to continue.  This is an exciting time for Delta as we look to the future, and we are looking for talented and skilled individuals who have a passion to perform meaningful work to join our team!


The website and multimedia designer position will create and design engaging website pages and posts, emails and other media for marketing and communications activities across a variety of digital platforms and in print.


  1. Create a variety of media communications for marketing and graphic materials that align with Delta’s brand and objectives for websites, emails and printed projects.
  2. Design and maintain content for Delta’s websites and effectively perform website administrator duties.
  3. Draft strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic.
  4. Create engaging email content that aligns with Delta’s brand and voice.
  5. Provide ongoing management of Delta’s email service with Higher Logic.
  6. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop plans, strategy and objectives that align with Delta’s strategic plan.
  7. Research industry trends and ensure Delta’s alignment with these as appropriate.
  8. Analyze email campaign and website performance and suggest improvements.
  9. Assist with photography, videography, event support, and campaign design as required.
  10. Other job duties as assigned.

  1. Associate’s degree in web design, marketing, or other closely related field and at least two years of professional experience required.
  2. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express (Spark).
  3. Prior experience working in WordPress, UMBRACO, or other CMS, Higher Logic or other automated email campaign software, and basic understanding of Google Analytics/SEO.
  4. Experience in creative writing, proofreading, editing and optimization.
  5. Must work well with the general public and in a team environment.
  6. Ability to travel on occasions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and listen.  The employee requires dexterity in using telephone, computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and other office equipment. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and navigate stairs.  The employee must lift and move up to 40 pounds.  Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
