This position will work at Delta Waterfowl’s Headquarters Office in Bismarck, ND

The Human Resources Coordinator position serves as the primary point-of-contact for our organization’s human resources activities and performs a variety of related administrative duties while ensuring the information is kept in a secure and confidential manner.


  1. Administer Delta’s employee benefits plans, including the enrollments, trainings and information sharing, changes, terminations and invoice reconciliations, as well as leading the annual open enrollment preparation efforts and meetings.
  2. Perform administrative duties associated with the employee performance review process and associated pay increases.
  3. Create and distribute employee leave forms on an annual basis and maintain a file of submitted documents throughout the year.
  4. Perform and lead employee recruitment, selection and onboarding processes.
  5. Update and administer the employee anniversary award program.
  6. Compiles and maintains human resource files and personnel records.
  7. Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and employee benefits.
  8. Serve as back-up to the bi-weekly payroll process.
  9. Keeps job descriptions up-to-date, accurate and compliant with relevant federal, state and local laws for all positions.
  10. Updates and maintains master compensation database and supporting materials.
  11. Receive and process employee paperwork as requested.
  12. Assists with the maintenance and timely processing of the fleet and commercial insurance files.

  1. Associates degree in a business field and at least two years of professional experience performing human resources or related duties.

  4. Must work well with the general public and in a team environment.
  5. Must be organized and able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to respond to change.
  7. Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, and other software.
